A Family Tradition
The connection between honeybees and humans in the web of life inseparable. Our respect and deep affection for bees here at Finger Lakes Beekeeping is what sets us apart. To us, bees are not a commodity, they are family, and we treat them with that level of respect and appreciation. We are thankful to harvest and share healthy hive products produced in one of the most pristine regions of the country, surrounded by the glacially carved lakes of the Finger Lakes region.

A Family Tradition
For five generations, our family has called the beautiful Finger Lakes region of upstate New York home. Over 30 years ago, 2nd generation beekeeper Joel Klose created Nature's Way Farm, selling raw honey and hive products in the Finger Lakes and at Greenmarkets throughout New York City. Today, Joel's son, Brian, has evolved Nature's Way Farm into Finger Lakes Beekeeping, a leading source in New York for all things honey, bee, and beekeeping related.

Our unique products are available online, at our storefront in Van Etten, NY and in the big apple under the skillful stewardship of our NYC Operations Manager PJ O'Connor (pictured above.) Since 1998, we've been serving millions of friendly folks at our honey stands underneath our big orange tents year-round at a dozen NYC Greenmarkets. We are proud to partner with distilleries, breweries, restaurants, and other outlets to provide raw honey products as a natural ingredient and network small businesses.
